Privacy — Alias Integrator

Privacy

At Alias Integrator, privacy is not an option: it is built into the very architecture of our ranges. This page explains, in clear terms, who holds which data when you visit this website, when you make a purchase, and when you use your applications. We do not claim that no data exists: a payment necessarily leaves a banking trace, and an invoice remains a legal obligation. Our processing is strictly limited to what follows.

Sections 2 to 6 concern the Alias Solo range (online purchase and use). Section 7 concerns the Alias Studio range (professional clients). Sections 1 and 9 apply to everyone.

The website

What this website does not collect

Applies to all visitors

0 cookies. 0 trackers. 0 identifiers. This website sets no cookies and uses no third-party service — neither advertising nor external analytics — that could follow you from page to page. A single family of browsing data is recorded, anonymous by design: our own traffic counter retains, for each page, the number of visits per day, the device family (computer, mobile or bot — named when it identifies itself: Googlebot, GPTBot…), the language declared by the browser and, where applicable, the domain the visit came from (google.com, perplexity.ai…). It also counts, still without naming anyone: visits per hour across all pages combined — never the hour at which a given page was read —, landing pages on the site, and requested addresses that do not exist, so we can fix our broken links. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signals, your visit is not counted at all. No IP address is read or stored, and no identifier exists: we know that a page was viewed — never by whom, never along which path.

"Notify me," without registration. On the Ecosystem page, the "Notify me" button provides you with a calendar file: it is your own calendar application that checks it periodically and notifies you when the day comes. We serve the same file to everyone, without knowing who requests it; no subscriber directory is created.

TeleGuard. The page that reveals our messaging ID asks you to solve a simple addition, in order to fend off bots. Nothing else is kept on the server side. Read the TeleGuard page.

Server security. This website — like every site in the Alias Studio range — may refuse a request that presents a falsified browser identity, that probes the typical paths of automated scanners (/.env, /wp-admin, *.php…), that carries attack syntax, or that addresses the server without a domain name. A refused request receives an empty response and never enters the visit statistics: it only increments an anonymous security counter — the date, the reason for the refusal and, where applicable, the probed path — in a separate database, with no IP address, no stored User-Agent, no identifier. Bots that honestly identify themselves (Googlebot, GPTBot, Censys…) are not blocked: they are still counted as bots.

Online purchase

Purchasing online

Alias Solo range

Payment. The purchase is paid online through a payment provider: Stripe (card payment) or PayPal (account payment). The provider sees only what the payment transaction requires — cardholder or account holder, amount, country of issue — that is, the strict minimum for any purchase, impossible to avoid. This is the only trace of the purchase on the payment side.

No email address requested. For an individual, we request no email address. Important note: if you pay with your PayPal account, PayPal already knows your address, since it is linked to your account with them; that address is never passed on to us, however. By card (Stripe), no address is requested. Your license key and your recovery code are displayed on the confirmation page, together with a downloadable license file: nothing is sent to you by email, since we have no address to send it to. It is up to you to keep this page or this file.

The sales receipt. A distance sale to an individual requires the issuance of a sales receipt: it is generated by our billing platform, from the payment data alone, and kept for the legal period. It never mentions your license number: accounting therefore cannot reconstruct any link between a buyer and a license.

Purchasing as a professional. Your billing identity (company name, SIREN, VAT where applicable, address) is required to issue the invoice. It stays within the billing channel, never in our licensing system.

3

License

Your license does not know your name

Alias Solo range

No identity in the licensing system. Against each license, our server holds a number, the associated fingerprint, the active devices, and the status; never your name, never your address, never any billing data whatsoever.

The fingerprint, explained. On first launch of the application, you enter your key and the email address of your choice. Your application transforms this address into a unique fingerprint, comparable to a wax seal: two fingerprints can be compared, but no one can recover the original address from it. The computation is performed on your machine; your address never leaves your computer.

A secret identifier, not transmitted data. No one knows your address, and no one can therefore verify it: it is a secret that you alone hold. You can change it at any time from the application: your machine then computes the new fingerprint and transmits it to our server, which replaces the old one. The address itself still does not leave your computer.

No profiling. Two applications acquired with the same address produce independent fingerprints: our server cannot establish any link between them, no more than we can. It knows neither who you are nor when you use your applications: everything happens locally, on your machine.

Distribution

Who holds what

Alias Solo range

Who What they hold — and why
You Your email address (only within your desktop application), your data, your license keys, and your recovery codes.
Our license server A license number, the associated fingerprint, the active devices, the status; never your name, never your email address.
Kidogo, the seller No client file.
The payment provider The cardholder, the amount, the country of issue: the strict minimum needed to collect payment.
The billing platform The sales receipt or the invoice, kept for ten years, under the accounting obligation.
The tax authorities The transaction data required by French regulations, with no individual client identity.

This table is exhaustive: nothing else is held, anywhere.

In full transparency: no personal data is associated with your license, and we keep no client file for the Alias Solo range. We do not claim that no data exists — payment and billing data do exist, held by the relevant third parties, for the legal retention periods.

5

Devices

Your devices

Alias Solo range

Three devices per person. A license may be used on a maximum of three devices simultaneously: one computer, one tablet, one smartphone. Replacement is provided for: the new device takes the place of the old one of the same type. This is a replacement, not a lockout.

The server knows a machine is active, not who it belongs to. Each desktop application signals its device by means of a fingerprint specific to the license: our server knows that a device of a given type is active, never who uses it or whom it belongs to.

Offline thereafter. Once the license is activated, the application works without an internet connection. Everything happens locally, on your machine: we do not track your usage.

6

Recovery code

Loss, theft, forgetting

Alias Solo range

The recovery code provided at purchase. It does not restore your key: it triggers its replacement. You enter the code, a new key is issued, the old one is canceled, and your devices are to be reactivated. A stolen key is neutralized at the same time: theft and loss are handled by a single action.

No recovery by email, by design. We do not know your address: we therefore cannot send you anything. This is the direct consequence of the choice never to collect it.

Last resorts. Machine and email address both lost? Replacement via the recovery code, together with entering a new address, reactivates your license. With the payment reference shown on your receipt, support can locate your purchase and initiate the same replacement: identity never comes into play.

Studio

Professional clients

Alias Studio range

What we hold — a short list: the contract details (name of the organization, SIREN, VAT where applicable, address and telephone of the head office, email address of the signatory) and the signed contract. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: the legal accounting period. In full transparency, the signatory's address and the name of a sole proprietor constitute personal data; we state this expressly.

What we never hold: your users and your employees. You manage them, from your administration application: their addresses, their fingerprints, and their devices remain with you, never with us. We know neither who they are nor how many they are: it is not our concern.

Your content stays with you. During maintenance work, the publisher accesses the structure of the databases, never the data; the reports mask the data and report only any format anomalies.

Why this is possible: everything is installed on your premises, this website collects nothing, and appointment bookings require no data. You are the sole data controller for your data and that of your visitors: we have no access to it in normal operation.

8

Appointments

Training and onboarding

Alias Studio range — zero personal data kept

No registration, no email address. Our group training sessions and personalized onboarding sessions are booked from a protected page, accessible via a link specific to your license: you view the proposed time slots, check them internally with your team, then confirm the one that suits you. Your internal availability never leaves your organization.

The reminder comes from your calendar, not from us. Upon booking, you download a calendar file: it is your own calendar application that reminds you of the appointment. We ourselves do not even know who booked. The video-conference link appears on the protected page when the time comes; the video conference requires no registration.

One slot, one link: nothing more. The server knows that a slot is taken, never by whom.

Your rights

Your rights

Applies to everyone

The rights provided for by the GDPR apply: access, rectification, erasure, objection. They are exercised on simple request, by email, to Kidogo, the seller, responsible for the commercial channel: display the email address (anti-spam protection).

What can be rectified or erased: the billing identity (professional purchase) and the contract details of Alias Studio range clients without an ongoing maintenance contract, within the limits of accounting obligations, which require invoices to be kept for ten years. As long as a maintenance contract is ongoing, the contract details remain necessary for its performance. For your card data, your contact is the payment provider.

A lifetime license, a nameless fingerprint. Your license is for life: the associated fingerprint lives as long as it does, and identifies no one. Replacing it takes a single action: changing the email address in the application. For our technical commitments — local, no cloud, no subscription — see the Zero page.
